Help Spread the Cheer |
All Christmas Internet Radio has always been a free service provided by me to the world and I have every intention of keeping it that way as long as I can. Over the past several years I have watched with amazement as the total amount of listeners of the station has climbed into the thousands, enjoying almost a quarter million hours of Christmas music for free. I find great joy in knowing that so many people around the globe have entrusted me with the privilege of being their background music while they surf online, host Holiday parties or simply enjoy a good book on their couch. Thank you for that honor! As much joy as I have gained out of this "hobby", there has also been some cost associated with it. Initially, it was a truly free service - for the listener as well as for the broadcaster. However, over the course of the past 6 years of operating this station, the broadcasting costs associated with it have steadily increased. As I am sure you can tell, the majority of the cost goes into actually broadcasting all of your favorite Holiday songs online and not into fancy webpage development. :-) I am now going to start doing something I would have never dreamed of needing to do: I am now accepting donations to help offset some of the cost of operating this station. I can promise you that all donations will be put back into the operation of All Christmas Internet Radio and if there is enough money left over I will be able to increase the number of listeners who can listen at any given moment in time. Any donation, whether it be twenty-five cents or twenty-five dollars would be gratefully accepted, as I strive to keep All Christmas Internet Radio on the air and free for all.
